Workshop details

Podere Motrano The stage will be held at 'La Magia', a country-house lost between the hills and the beaches of Tuscany's wildest region: the Maremma, during the week between july 20th and the 27th, 2008.

  capoeira training The daily training schedule will provide 5 hours of capoeira practice: a morning session, concentrating on basic conditioning and detailed analysis of single capoeira techniques, and an evening one in which the moves will be reviewed in the context of the capoeira game.

The rest of the day is free to just relax, learn to play the Berimbau and the other capoeira instruments and percussions, or to explore the nearby coast, and the many other naturalistic and architectural attactions of the area.

At night we will provide video sessions to explore the history of capoeira, and also review footage from classes with participants, providing visual hints for quick corrections for the next  days of activities.
